Great lesson! My daughter loves her teacher. Most patient and passionate voice teacher we've ever met!

I have been taking voice lessons with Alize for the past 6 months, and she has been an incredible coach. I have heard significant improvement in my voice in a relatively short period of time. Alize tailors the goals of the lessons for each student, and my goals have to do with developing my musical theater vocal style. Alize draws from a significant body of education and expertise, and is able to explain the mechanics of the voice so effectively. She also emphasizes healthy, sustainable vocal techniques. As a teacher, she is very warm and compassionate, providing both positive feedback in addition to constructive feedback and areas for growth. Alize herself has a beautiful sound, she is immensely talented, versatile, and accomplished in her vocal career, which is evidenced by her resume. Alize is a phenomenal teacher: kind, dedicated and above all, knowledgeable. She skillfully guides the development of proper technique and puts a tremendous amount of consideration into repertoire choices and vocal development. She empathizes with her students and is available for additional coaching in a pinch. I trust her completely and can not possibly say enough good things about her as a teacher and a person.

I've taken voice lessons with Alize for about five years, and she has helped me not only greatly improve my singing but also become a more courageous and comfortable performer and a more thoughtful songwriter. She is a wonderful teacher who always knows what to pull out of her bag of tricks for the issue that appears during the lesson. She has the right balance of encouragement and toughness, always pushing you to become better than you imagined you could be. And, I couldn’t imagine a better voice teacher and would encourage anyone of any age to study with her.

Alize taught my daughter beginning at age 8 for the last 5 years. Alize was able to convey her knowlege in a way that a young student could understand. Alize also engaged with my daughter on a personal level to find out what her interests were so that she could select pieces to work on that were of interest to her. My daughter had no musical background when she began and now sings beautifully (in my non biased mother’s opinion :) ) My daughter joined her school’s choir at a new school this year - something I don’t think she would have considered without having studied with Alize. On another note, Alize herself is an amazing and accomplished performer. I have always thought my daughter is so fortunate that someone as talented as Alize takes the time to teach others.

Alize is a phenomenal vocal instructor! I've had several teachers over the years and some singing experience, mostly in order to teach drama in original productions. I also had an issue with voice weakness recently. Alize was able to instantly identify areas that needed help, and she opened up my voice to an amazing degree. Her obvious care, kindness and professionalism made working with her a delightful (if very challenging!) experience. When I was tapped at the last minute for a local production, she coached me intensively and I received excellent feedback for the performance. I'm so grateful to Alize and can't wait to work with her more!
